* Headstart Garlic Summer Lick is a complementary mineral feedstuff for cattle, sheep and horses to be fed during summer grazing to reduce nuisance from flies and supply essential vitamins, minerals and trace elements
* Headstart Garlic Summer Lick contains a high concentration of garlic (33% more garlic than competitor products) – When garlic is fed it is absorbed by the animal and over the following days the active components of garlic are secreted through pores in the skin. Many insects are averse to these chemicals and therefore will no longer cause a nuisance to the livestock
* Headstart Garlic Summer Lick can be fed anytime flies or insects are a problem. Irritation from flies increases stress and reduces grazing and performance. However, flies are also associated with an increased incidence of eye infections and summer mastitis
* Many pastures are deficient in minerals and trace elements. Headstart Garlic Summer Lick also contains a range of minerals, trace elements, antioxidants and vitamins to support health and thrive in growing animals. Recommended feeding rate 20 grams per 100kg live weight – Place two buckets with stock at all times
